Topic: Woohoo I'm Charting
Whoohoo I'm charting! I'm learning to chart crochet stitches and I'm having way too much fun with this thing! Inspired by Kim Brody Salazar's Charting for knitting with Microsoft Visio stencils, I decided to try. With the help of a talented Illustrator Janis Smith (more on this talented lady later) who made me a Visio stencil with some of the basic crochet symbols on it. I added a few more of my own symbols did a little tweaking and away I went. I'm learning the software and manulation of the symbols at the same time. I have not crocheted for about 2 weeks and my brain is about to explode with the posibilities. EEEK! Shout out and mucho love to Kim Brody Salazar and Janis Smith!

You started this path down the road with Visio for me. I read your site, followed your suggestions (and just like the stubborn child I always was) just started trying to make it do what I wanted it to.
